Job Summary: Professional responsible for verifying, preparing and processing biological samples, operating laboratory equipment and performing quality controls, with a focus on continuous improvement and patient safety. Focus on continuous process improvement and patient safety **Main Responsibilities:** * Verification, preparation and processing of biological samples for laboratory analyses; * Operation of laboratory equipment, including centrifugation, automated analyses and rapid tests; * Basic sample analysis (e.g., urinary sediment) and support for microbiology tests; * Execution of quality controls, temperature monitoring, reagent management and traceability of supplies; * Daily equipment maintenance and technical department organization; * Preparation, dispatch, storage and disposal of biological samples in accordance with regulations; * Support in biological material collection, when required. **Institutional Responsibilities:** * Focus on continuous process improvement and patient safety; * Proper use of resources and safeguarding institutional assets; * Compliance with customer service excellence guidelines; * Adherence to the Code of Ethics, Employee Handbook and institutional regulations; * Performance of other duties related to the position, as directed by leadership.
