Train and onboard new employees The employee will be responsible for coordinating and supervising cash register operations, ensuring smooth departmental functioning, adherence to internal procedures and company policies. They must organize the team’s work schedule, guide employees on service routines and techniques, oversee sales transactions, cash register opening and closing procedures, change reconciliation, supply management, and documentation, as well as assist in resolving financial discrepancies and issues. Additionally, they must safeguard departmental assets and security, prevent losses and fraud, maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the checkout area, periodically verify the validity and presentation of displayed products, and ensure all check standards are properly executed. The employee must monitor team performance indicators such as service time, cash accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction level, and prepare managerial reports when required. They must train and onboard new employees, continuously monitor service quality, report any relevant incidents to management, and propose improvements to optimize operations. Their role aims to ensure operational efficiency, excellent service, compliance with hygiene, security and quality standards, and maintenance of an organized, safe and productive environment.
