Our client has multiple online platforms providing spiritual guidance on love, relationships, and life. They offer a vast portfolio of over 20 brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space. You will be a pivotal player in the strategic initiative to modernize the core platform. The team is evolving the technology from the ground up to improve scalability and performance, and you will ensure that this transformation is executed without compromising the high standards the users expect. In this role, you will be an individual contributor supporting the Engineering team with your quality testing expertise. You'll be utilizing AI tools to accelerate the creation of test documentation and data, significantly increasing your testing velocity. You will act as the primary gatekeeper for the new platform, working within a cross\-functional squad to identify architectural risks early and ensure that the modernized features are functional, stable, and ready for production. REQUIREMENTS * 5\+ years of hands\-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically testing complex, data\-driven web applications. * Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development environment and teams. * Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases. * Hands\-on experience with both white box and black box testing methodologies. * Experience or strong aptitude for using AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) to assist in writing test plans, generating scripts, or analyzing technical requirements to increase output. * Strong knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman) and querying databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) to validate data. * Experience in testing across various mobile devices, mobile web, and the utilization of related tools. A self\-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working independently while keeping stakeholders informed. * **Nice to have:** Hands\-on experience with testing automation tools (Selenium \& Playwright) and AWS, including testing applications within a cloud environment, or specifically during a cloud migration project. * RESPONSIBILITIES * Design and execute a comprehensive testing strategy to validate that the new platform architecture meets all legacy functional requirements while delivering improved performance. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well\-structured test plans and test cases for all migration\-related activities, reporting progress and quality to the team. * Manage a robust regression strategy that ensures "business as usual" functionality remains intact while new modernized components are integrated. * Identify, document, and track bugs with high precision. Partner closely with developers to triage issues and provide the technical context needed for rapid resolution. * Use AI\-driven tools to draft complex test cases, generate synthetic edge\-case data, and summarize technical logs to identify the root cause of defects faster. * Identify high\-risk functional areas and collaborate with the Automation Engineers to transition them into the Playwright regression suite, ensuring a sustainable long\-term quality model.
