Our client has multiple online platforms providing spiritual guidance on love, relationships, and life. They offer a vast portfolio of over 20 brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space. You will help modernize the backend architecture supporting B2C and B2B customers by building a scalable, modular architecture, creating RESTful APIs for data access, and implementing the platform's core business logic. REQUIREMENTS: * 6\+ years of professional experience in backend application development. * Strong knowledge of C\#, .NET Core (modern versions preferred). * Hands\-on experience in modernizing or refactoring legacy applications. * Understanding of modular monolith architecture. * Deep understanding of architectural design principles (Clean Architecture, vertical slices). * Experience designing and working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar). * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of unit, integration, and automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright). * Familiarity with agentic AI development, utilizing tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor. * Strong problem\-solving, communication, and collaboration skills * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborate in building a modular monolith architecture following modern software engineering best practices. * Define and enforce clear module boundaries, ownership, and contracts. * Develop application code that is secure, well tested, well documented, extensible, and scalable. * Work closely with cross\-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals. * Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team. * Contribute to backend architecture decisions, including tooling, frameworks, and standards.
