Participation in meetings and training sessions for professional development **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Carry out basic care activities for service recipients; * Implement actions aimed at welcoming, protecting, promoting autonomy, and strengthening the self-esteem of service recipients; * Support the planning and organization of daily routines; * Support and accompany users in external community interaction activities; * Participate in meetings and training sessions, contributing to continuous improvement of professional practice; * Participate in meetings and training sessions, contributing to continuous improvement of professional practice; * Accompany users during socio-assistance and medical appointments; * Observe and report to the technical team any physical or emotional changes, assisting with documentation and the Individual Care Plan (PIA); * Assist the team in carrying out its activities; * Provide first aid in emergency situations, notifying the technical team and health services when necessary. **REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS:** * Completed high school education; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Strong communication and oral expression skills, with emphasis on Nonviolent Communication; * A technical nursing course or an elderly caregiver course will be considered an advantage. **DUTIES OF THE DAY CARE CENTER ELDERLY CAREGIVER:** * Accompany and assist users in transportation between their residence and the service (round trip), ensuring safe drop-off at home; * Supervise meals, aiming for comprehensive protection during feeding; * Accompany and support activities related to: personal hygiene, organization of personal belongings and space, feeding, medication administration, bathing, and leisure for service recipients; * Assist in administering commonly used medications, as directed by the technical team and under physician prescription; * Complete medication control forms, incident logbooks, and internal records; * Perform minor dressings under guidance from the responsible team, always adhering to established protocols. **DUTIES OF THE HOME-BASED CAREGIVER:** * Support elderly individuals and persons with disabilities who are dependent, in planning and organizing their daily routines, encouraging active participation and maintaining autonomy in everyday activities; * Collaborate with families to develop caregiving skills and strategies, providing practical guidance to establish routines that respect the individual’s limitations while enhancing their capabilities; * Accompany and support users in hygiene, personal organization, and feeding activities, focusing on preserving user autonomy; * Contribute to strengthening family bonds, encouraging shared responsibility and mutual protection among family members, with attention to existing support networks; * Collaborate with the technical team in developing, monitoring, and evaluating Individual and Family Care Plans through daily household observations and documentation.
