Teamwork and adherence to regulations **Kitchen Assistant** Supports the preparation and handling of foods for sale in rotisserie, bakery, or internal cafeteria departments, ensuring organization, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations. **Work Schedule** *6-day workweek with 1 day off — Shift hours to be arranged* Main Responsibilities: Pre-preparation and Production * Assist in food preparation (washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients). * Support preparation of ready-to-eat dishes, savory items, baked goods, fried foods, and other products sold. * Follow technical recipes and instructions from the chef or department supervisor. Hygiene and Food Safety * Strictly adhere to good food handling practices. * Clean utensils, equipment, and work areas. * Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper storage of supplies. * Correctly use PPE (hairnet, apron, gloves, etc.). Organization and Stocking * Organize dry storage and refrigerators. * Properly separate and store raw materials. Control and Operational Support * Assist in waste control. * Support verification of incoming goods for the department. * Follow internal quality and safety procedures.
