




Job Summary: The Welder is responsible for performing welding, pre-assembly, and cutting of parts, operating specific equipment and tools while ensuring quality and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Performing welding (electrode, TIG, MIG/MAG) and pre-assembly of parts. 2. Handling various equipment and tools, including overhead cranes. 3. Providing technical customer support and traveling for work as needed. **Description** The Welder is responsible for performing welding, pre\-assembly, and cutting of parts, operating specific equipment and tools, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company standards. Also performs tasks involving measurement instruments and process control systems, and provides technical support when required. **Main Responsibilities** * Strictly comply with Quality Management guidelines and the company’s Code of Conduct. * Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) provided by MPC, adhering to all applicable safety regulations for the position. * Implement the 5S Program, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area and equipment, preserving company assets. * Ensure proper maintenance and conservation of equipment and work instruments, requesting maintenance or calibration whenever necessary. * Carry out activities according to training, instructions, and established procedures. * Comply with production planning based on cell reports and team leaders’ instructions. * Accurately enter maintenance information into the FAS system and request Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary. * Immediately report any incidents or failures during task execution to the responsible supervisor. * Travel for work as required. * Operate technology equipment used for process control and activity management systems, as well as archiving systems for completed work. * Operate overhead cranes following training and safety regulations. * Provide technical support at customer facilities when required. * Handle work machines and tools, including: welding machines, torches, bench saws, electric saws, and overhead cranes. * Handle measuring instruments such as: micrometers, standard rods/bars, calipers, internal diameter gauges, torque wrenches, vacuum gauges/pressure gauges, and dial indicators. * Manage the departmental Work Instruction folder (identification and study). * Perform various types of welding: electrode, TIG, MIG/MAG, and cast iron. * Layout parts for assembly and perform pre\-assembly of parts. * Perform cutting using torches and prepare parts using grinders. * Rivet tarpaulins and handle, assemble, and secure magnetic packages. * Manufacture shaft locks and develop devices for the winding department and other departments. * Remove bolts from housings and rethread them. * Understand material specifications used in processes. **Requirements** * Completed high school education, a welding qualification course, or proven experience as a welder. * Knowledge of different welding types (Electrode, TIG, MIG/MAG). * Attention to detail, responsibility, organization, and commitment to work quality.
