Focus on internal controls and financial compliance Financial Analyst Position **Job Mission** Act as the **owner of the Accounts Payable process**, ensuring accurate control, validation, scheduling, and monitoring of all the company’s financial obligations, guaranteeing **on-time payments, cash flow predictability, documentary compliance, and appropriate segregation of duties**, in integration with Tax, Treasury, and Financial Coordination. **Main Responsibilities** **Accounts Payable Management** * Consolidate all payable items posted by **tax and finance assistants** * Validate documents (invoices, bank slips, contracts) for: * + amounts + due dates + payment terms + cost centers + accounting classification * Ensure that **no payment is scheduled without valid documentation** **Payment Scheduling and Control** * Schedule payments in the ERP system according to due dates, internal policy, and cash flow * Keep the **Accounts Payable aging report** up to date * Monitor future commitments (short-, medium-, and long-term) * Prevent delays, interest charges, and penalties **Interface with Treasury** * Submit the approved payment schedule to the **Treasury Supervisor** * Clarify questions regarding payable items, amounts, and due dates * Monitor payment execution and flag discrepancies **Internal Controls and Compliance** * Ensure adherence to financial and approval policies * Uphold **segregation of duties** among: * + posting + scheduling + execution + reconciliation * Contribute to process and control improvements **Support to Financial Coordination** * Provide management reports: * + Accounts Payable by period + Future commitments + Significant variances * Support monthly financial closing * Flag cash flow risks or maturity mismatches Requirements * Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields * Prior experience as a Financial Analyst or in financial areas * Knowledge of financial analysis tools and strategic planning * Ability to work in teams and adapt to different situations * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
