Practical experience managing teachers, planning, assessment, and daily school operations. Proficiency in international or bilingual curricula Experience with IB (PYP/MYP/DP), Cambridge, or equivalent international frameworks. Clear understanding of vertical curriculum planning, learning progression, and curriculum alignment. Functional fluency in English Ability to lead meetings, observe classes, provide feedback, and communicate effectively with foreign families and teachers. Leadership and decision-making capability Strong, ethical, and consistent leadership posture. Capacity to uphold pedagogical decisions even under pressure. Systemic understanding of school operations Recognition that pedagogy intersects with admissions, retention, school climate, compliance, and institutional reputation. Desirable Qualifications: International certifications IB Leadership, IBEN, official IB workshops. International continuing education. Experience with accreditation and audit processes Leading or participating in authorizations, official visits, reauthorizations, and reporting. Authentic multicultural experience Studied, worked, or lived outside Brazil. Ability to lead multicultural teams with cultural sensitivity.
