Job Summary: Assist dentists in dental care, optimizing procedures and ensuring service quality, in accordance with manuals. Key Highlights: 1. Optimize the execution of dental procedures. 2. Assist dentists in patient dental care, optimizing procedure execution and ensuring service quality, following work instructions specified in the company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Prepare patients for treatment by verifying the scheduled procedure and preparing and organizing all necessary materials on the assistant table to support the dentist’s treatment; * Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices, as outlined in the company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual; * Place orders for dental appliances, monitor laboratory delivery, and inspect appliances to ensure readiness for the scheduled appointment; * Maintain and preserve dental equipment; * Lubricate high- and low-speed handpieces according to manufacturer guidelines; * Process radiographic films; * Assist and instrument clinical professionals during interventions, as outlined in the company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual; * Handle dental materials; * Select impression trays; * Prepare plaster models; * Apply biosafety measures during storage, transport, handling, and disposal of dental products and waste; * Adopt biosafety measures aimed at infection control; * Perform cleaning, antisepsis, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and the workplace; * Collect, wash, disinfect, and sterilize clinic materials and instruments, in accordance with the company’s established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP); * Package and label washed materials with expiration dates, then place them in the autoclave for sterilization; * Correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE), per the company’s established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP); * Conduct weekly general cleaning of the sterilization room (washing and disinfecting walls, floors, cabinets, and all surfaces); * Perform chemical and biological tests on the autoclave, as required by health surveillance authorities; * Observe technical usage requirements for equipment (autoclave, ultrasonic bath, and other equipment); * Check expiration dates of packaged materials and re-clean and re-sterilize materials whose sterilization period has expired; * Assemble patient records for those initiating treatment, per the company’s established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP); * Monitor clinical material inventory and request replenishment from the responsible person when needed; * Select patient clinical records according to the daily appointment schedule and archive them after use; * Maintain orderly dental documentation and patient records, including files of patients who discontinued, canceled, or completed treatment; * Store clinical records reviewed by administration; * Participate in technical and/or behavioral training sessions organized by the company. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Technical course in Dental Hygiene and/or Dental Assistant training is desirable; * Knowledge of dental materials, instruments, and procedures; * Customer service skills; * Intermediate computer skills.
