General Services Assistant – Cleaning

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of various environments, as well as maintaining cleaning materials and restocking supplies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of environments and surfaces 2. Maintain organization and restocking of hygiene supplies 3. Ensure proper maintenance of cleaning materials and equipment * **General Cleaning**: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in rooms, corridors, staircases, and other circulation areas. * **Sanitation**: Clean and disinfect restrooms, washrooms, locker rooms, and other common areas. * **Surface Maintenance**: Clean tables, chairs, countertops, glass surfaces, and other commonly used items, including door handles and light switches. * **Supply Restocking**: Ensure availability of hygiene supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer. * **Waste Collection and Disposal**: Collect and sort waste, disposing of it appropriately. * **Equipment Care**: Ensure proper maintenance of cleaning materials and equipment. * **Environment Organization**: Assist in organizing rooms and spaces before and after events or meetings. * **Cleaning Maintenance**: Follow cleaning schedules and report when supplies need replenishment.
