Repair defective or damaged garments. Assist in producing new garments when the store conducts in-house production. Work with elastic fabrics such as supplex, nylon, dry fit, and other sportswear materials. Operate straight-stitch sewing machines, overlock machines, and binding machines. Ensure high-quality finishing and seam durability. Verify garment measurements and fit. Maintain an organized workplace. Previous experience as a tailor, seamster, fashion designer, or bespoke tailor may indicate suitability for some of the tasks in this position. High school diploma required.
