Key Responsibilities:
1. Install and configure automotive audio systems (multimedia units, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers) with factory-grade finishing.
2. Replace/align headlights and taillights; perform upgrades (e.g., LED) and functional testing.
3. Replace and test batteries (CCA, voltage, current leakage), ensuring proper mounting and grounding.
4. Install parking sensors, backup cameras, modules, tracking devices, and other electrical/electronic accessories.
5. Perform 12V/24V electrical diagnostics using a multimeter, polarity tester pen, and basic circuit diagram interpretation.
6. Route wiring harnesses, correctly crimp/solder connections, insulate and protect circuits (fuses, relays), adhering to best practices.
7. Complete pre- and post-service checklists; open and close service orders (O.S.); register warranties; and advise customers.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and tools, complying with safety standards and PPE requirements.
9. Support the sales team by providing technical feasibility assessments and estimated installation times.
Ideal Profile:
1. Experience installing automotive audio systems, accessories, and light automotive electrical systems.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in 12V measurements, connections (crimping/soldering), wiring harness routing, and basic schematic reading; familiarity with CAN/LIN protocols is a plus.
3. Quality Focus: Meticulous attention to finish quality, detail orientation, and zero rework as a core objective.
4. Customer Service: Strong communication skills to clearly explain services, timelines, and usage precautions to customers.
5. Organization: Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists; maintains a clean, clearly marked workstation.
6. Education: Completed high school; SENAI or other automotive-related training is advantageous.
7. Behavioral Traits: Punctuality, ethics, teamwork, and proactive willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Audio tuning (gain, crossover) and acoustic treatment.
2. Installation of lighting upgrades with precise beam alignment.
3. Experience with tracking devices/telematics and calibration of parking sensors.
4. Prior experience working in high-volume auto parts stores or workshops with strict productivity targets.
