Opportunity to develop and implement a safety culture Plan, coordinate, and implement Occupational Safety Engineering systems, programs, and practices aimed at ensuring employees’ physical integrity, legal compliance, and occupational risk mitigation, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** Develop, implement, and monitor occupational accident and disease prevention programs (PPRA/PGR, PCMSO – in coordination with medical staff, LTCAT, PCA, PPR, etc.). Conduct environmental risk analyses and assessments, proposing corrective and preventive measures. Prepare and revise safety procedures, technical reports, and internal standards. Coordinate and oversee safety inspections, internal and external audits. Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analyses, and propose action plans. Provide technical support to operational areas and leadership on safety-related matters. Ensure compliance with applicable legislation (NRs, decrees, laws, and technical standards). Monitor and advise on high-risk activities, such as working at heights, confined space entry, electricity, machinery and equipment, chemical products, among others. Conduct mandatory safety training and onboarding sessions for new employees. Participate in internal committees (CIPA, emergency response team, risk management). Track safety indicators and propose continuous improvements. Implement Safety Culture initiatives and behavioral programs. Evaluate and technically approve projects, machinery, equipment, and processes from a safety perspective. Control and validate occupational health and safety (OHS)-related documents (technical reports, certifications, PPE data sheets, work permits, etc.). **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Engineering degree with specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering (per Law No. 7,410/1985). * **Active registration with CREA.** * Solid knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs) and related legislation. * Prior experience in Occupational Safety. * Knowledge of technical report preparation and occupational risk management. * Proficiency in accident investigation tools. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Willingness to work on-site and participate in operational area activities. **Desirable Requirements (Differentiators)** ---------------------------------------- * Additional specializations in areas such as Occupational Hygiene, Ergonomics, Environment, or Management Systems. * Technical certifications (NR35, NR33, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, etc.). * Experience with OHS Management Systems (ISO 45001). * Data and OHS indicator analysis skills. * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma). **You Can Do It!
