Preparation and basic maintenance of equipment **Brief Job Description** Perform tree and vegetation cutting and pruning by operating chain saws for timber harvesting, forest management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always adhering to strict occupational safety (NRs) and environmental regulations, focusing on equipment preparation, refueling, operation, and maintenance, as well as area signage and demarcation, and timber handling, thereby minimizing accident risks and environmental impacts. 3 \- Main Job Responsibilities Perform tree and vegetation cutting and pruning by operating chain saws for timber harvesting, forest management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always adhering to strict occupational safety (NRs) and environmental regulations. Carry out safe and efficient cutting, pruning, delimbing, and felling of trees following established techniques and procedures. Prepare, refuel (fuel and oil), adjust, and perform basic maintenance on chain saws and accessories. Identify workplace hazards, implement preventive measures, correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and comply with Occupational Safety Regulations (NRs). Demarcate harvesting areas, classify logs, conduct forest inventories, and prepare soil for planting. Transport trees, logs, and bolts, moving them to loading areas. Work with an emphasis on environmental preservation, following sustainable forest management plans and fire control procedures. Comply with the (GSI) Quality, Safety, Environment and Health Policy, where applicable. Comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality regulations and procedures to ensure safe and hygienic working conditions.
