




Job Summary: The professional will perform low-complexity activities related to the control and monitoring of machines, equipment, and instruments via computer systems, focusing on productivity and problem resolution. Assist in corrective maintenance of industrial machines and equipment Perform low-complexity activities related to the control and monitoring of machines, equipment, and instruments through the company’s Integrated Operations Center (IOC) computer system, preparing daily reports focused on increasing productivity and resolving equipment issues. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate computer systems that monitor the operation of machines (under constant supervision), equipment, and field instruments, verifying equipment functionality to ensure productivity, quality, and safety; * Execute production process control within their assigned area; * Assist in controlling the production process by dosing chemical inputs and operating equipment, pumps, and other process units; * Adjust equipment to the production process with assistance; perform maintenance on machines and equipment; * Operate the industry’s control system via network-connected computers; * Operate equipment such as pumps, fermenters, heat exchangers, Redler conveyors, and other equipment comprising the area; * Assist in analyzing and preparing daily occurrence reports, equipment stoppages, production, and quality reports to identify deviations from production standards and implement appropriate corrective actions; * Interpret production orders, change programs, and adjust machine and process parameters; * Communicate information verbally and in writing to team members working the same shift and others; * Substitute for the Full COI Operator during their absence; * Identify causes of equipment malfunction and arrange necessary repairs as quickly as possible; * Evaluate the condition of machines, equipment, parts, and tools used in the production process; collect samples; * Read parameters and enter data into established checklists, reports, and forms. * Monitor process quality, sanitation, and parameters; * Clean and maintain parts, tools, and equipment used, ensuring their availability to meet production needs; * Perform minor repairs on equipment during scheduled shutdowns for this purpose; * Assist in corrective maintenance of machines, motors, and industrial equipment, supporting mechanics in assembly and disassembly tasks for machines and motors in general; * Perform cleaning and organization of work areas; * Carry out tasks of equivalent complexity when requested by the immediate supervisor; * Perform job-related activities in full compliance with the organization’s occupational health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and work area.
