Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrotechnician for the Maintenance team, responsible for designing, installing, operating, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment at the school. Keeps up with technological advancements and regulations **Who We Are:** The Dom Pedro II Military School (CMDP II) was established by District Law No. 2\.393, dated June 7, 1999, and regulated by Decree No. 21\.298, dated June 29, 2000\. Thus, the Military School is a public educational institution delivering mandatory pedagogical activities — early childhood education, elementary education I and II, and secondary education. In addition to mandatory activities, CMDP II may also conduct non\-mandatory activities of a sports, recreational, artistic, cultural, or academic support nature, inspired by the ideals of human freedom and solidarity, while fully complying with current legal principles. **JOB DESCRIPTION** We are seeking an Electrotechnician to join the CMDP II Maintenance team. The weekly workload is 44 hours. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design, install, and operate the school’s electrical systems; 2\. Sign RTs (Technical Reports) for projects related to job functions; 3\. Conduct regular inspections to diagnose potential failures in the school’s electrical appliances and systems; 4\. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations and air conditioning units, including replacing, swapping, cleaning, repairing, and installing parts, components, and equipment, while observing safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards; 5\. Install and configure electrical equipment, as well as relocate circuit breakers, following safety recommendations; 6\. Prepare technical reports, sign them, and submit them to Command; 7\. Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology and new regulations to ensure compliance and operational efficiency; 8\. Supervise any maintenance, installation, or service performed by other professionals to guarantee the integrity of the electrical system and efficient integration of systems within broader projects; 9\. Specify and request materials required for electrical maintenance; 10\. Transport parts, materials, tools, and any other items necessary to perform services; 11\. Ensure proper custody, preservation, and cleanliness of equipment, instruments, tools, and materials specific to the job, as well as work areas; 12\. Observe safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards; 13\. Comply with established norms and procedures within their area of responsibility; 14\. Report any risk situations or irregularities to their immediate supervisor; 15\. Attend meetings and training courses when summoned; 16\.
