A dynamic environment for professional development. **ENGIE Brasil Energia is looking for a new** **talent to join the team!** **Occupational Health and Safety Technician I** We are seeking an **Occupational Health and Safety Technician I** to implement, train, and inspect Occupational Health and Workplace Safety activities and projects at the Company’s power plants, aiming to ensure understanding and compliance with applicable legal regulations and Company guidelines, reduce accidents and occupational diseases, and improve the quality of life for both direct and third-party employees. **If you are communicative, work well in teams, and seek a dynamic environment for professional development, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities:** * Ensure and supervise labor activities at power plants and/or construction sites. * Authorize and monitor work fronts for critical activities such as working at heights, confined space entry, among others. * Support and assist the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA), fire brigade and first aid teams, and implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (PAE). * Monitor and execute local activities related to the evaluation process of contracted companies regarding the Company’s corporate health and safety requirements for contractors. * Inspect and, when necessary, interdict Company-owned or third-party equipment or installations due to serious and imminent risks. * Comply with and enforce the Regulatory Standards issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment concerning occupational health and safety. * Train direct and third-party employees on topics relevant to this role. * Prepare and monitor safety statistics. * Analyze incidents and accidents, involving other employees when necessary, and produce statistical reports and performance indicators. * Carry out local actions required to obtain and maintain health and safety certifications. * Participate in drafting terms of reference, technical specifications, descriptive memoranda, and reviewing received proposals to contribute to supplier selection processes. * Conduct or participate in workplace health and safety audits, monitoring their follow-up actions. * Report accidents and HIPOs (High-Potential Incidents or Accidents) to the Corporate Office. * Comply with and enforce external and internal Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management regulations applicable to business operations, and perform assigned responsibilities in alignment with the Company’s implemented certification standards. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Technical Education in Occupational Health and Safety; active CFT registration. * Driver’s License – Category B. * Computer literacy: word processor, spreadsheet, presentation software, internet, email – Basic level. * Integrated Management System – Basic level. * Knowledge of ISO 45001 – Basic level. * Knowledge of Regulatory Standards, Accident Analysis and Investigation – Basic level. * English – Basic level. **Desirable Attributes:** * Higher Education in fields related to Health and Safety. **Interested in this challenge?
