We are committed to building an increasingly diverse culture and value the inclusion of all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability, fostering an inclusive environment with equal opportunities. **Responsibilities and Duties** Analyze failures in assemblies and equipment within your area of responsibility—including electromechanical systems, rolling stock systems, and power systems—in coordination with Maintenance Engineering, potentially under supervision; Perform inspections (e.g., inspection, analysis, measurement, lubrication, adjustment, re-tightening, etc.) and, if required, replace equipment in electromechanical systems, rolling stock systems, power systems, permanent way systems, auxiliary equipment, and vehicles. Identify, suggest, and quantify materials needed for maintenance services according to work orders issued for the department; Carry out maintenance tasks following guidelines provided by area leaders, aiming to ensure appropriate quality and execution time. Assist refrigeration technicians in performing various activities, such as: applying vacuum to refrigeration systems, depressurizing the system, connecting the vacuum pump to the system, installing vacuum gauges, and monitoring vacuum pressure, among others; Operate cargo-handling equipment and machine tools related to your area of responsibility, under supervision; Perform electrical and building repairs following guidelines provided by area/shift leaders; Discharge onboard energy accumulators using specific tools and equipment, under supervision. Install ventilation and refrigeration equipment, selecting appropriate tools and equipment, measuring the installation site to position the equipment, installing piping and drains, interconnecting evaporator and condenser units, and performing electrical installations; Conduct tests on refrigeration systems, verifying electrical supply conditions for equipment, activating equipment (motors and compressors), checking motor rotation direction, controlling refrigeration system variables (voltage, current, and monometric pressure), monitoring superheat and subcooling, verifying operation of protection and control devices, disconnecting gas cylinders and manometers; Conduct tests on refrigeration systems, verifying electrical supply conditions for equipment, activating equipment (motors and compressors), checking motor rotation direction, controlling refrigeration system variables (voltage, current, and monometric pressure), monitoring superheat and subcooling, verifying operation of protection and control devices, disconnecting gas cylinders and manometers; Monitor performance of equipment and/or systems under supervision—either instrumentally or non-instrumentally—of the Permanent Way and/or Auxiliary Equipment/Vehicles on operational lines and CIOM, and/or components of Electromechanical Systems or Rolling Stock on operational lines. Use and promote use of maintenance management software to open and access, input information into, and close work orders executed by the team, reporting resources employed (materials and labor) and their history.
