Participation in the development of strategic plans and goals **Senior Nurse for Hospital Cidade Tiradentes** **Requirements:** * Nursing degree; * Postgraduate degree in Health Management or Hospital Management (in progress or completed); * Active registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); * Experience in the hospital setting; * Experience with risk classification; * Completion of the MANCHESTER Risk Classification course. **Job Details:** * Workload: 180 hours per month * Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off * Shift hours: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM * Employment type: Temporary and permanent **Main Responsibilities:** * Adhere to the standards established in the Professional Code of Ethics and legal provisions set forth by the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); * Fulfill the employment contract, respecting institutional policies, guidelines, and protocols; * Coordinate work processes with area leadership to discuss decisions and align actions; * Participate in developing and implementing action plans to improve care and educational processes within the nursing team’s scope of practice; * Participate in annual planning—including vacations, training, and scheduling—and execute necessary actions; * Lead nursing teams by welcoming, guiding, supervising, evaluating, and investing in their technical development and alignment with organizational culture; * Plan and coordinate nursing care jointly with the team under their responsibility; * Plan, perform, document, evaluate, and improve care and educational procedures performed by the nursing team within their area of practice; * Prepare shift reports noting: incidents, presence of the team under their responsibility, cross-checking against the duty schedule, and recording any staff substitutions or absences; * Enter information into systems for access and consultation by all teams to support clinical decisions and continuity of care; * Receive and hand over shifts with the team at the scheduled time, properly uniformed, and with the presence of the previous shift’s nurse; * Plan, perform, document, evaluate, and improve care procedures, strengthening analysis and decision-making with multidisciplinary teams; * Monitor and ensure periodic health examinations for their teams, and manage absenteeism, turnover, occupational illness, and workplace accident indicators—analyzing strategies together with support staff and supervisors; * Maintain technically sound, clear, objective, and courteous communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, students, and other institutional staff—mediating conflicts and promoting respectful coexistence, free from harassment, moral harm, or disrespect toward diversity, reinforcing the Humanization Policy; * Keep management informed of relevant events and incidents occurring in their unit, conveying information accurately; * Review nursing care documentation prepared by Junior and Pleno Nurses, as well as Nursing Technicians and Assistants; * Support coordination in developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with the health area’s strategic plan and goal-setting plan, aligned with institutional guidelines to achieve optimal outcomes; * Monitor indicators, promote discussions, and assist in implementing improvement processes; * Serve as an educator, multiplier, and facilitator in the professional development of Nursing Assistants, Nursing Technicians, Junior and Pleno Nurses, and act as a mediator among patients, multidisciplinary teams, volunteers, partners, and service providers; * Participate in and support institutional teaching and research activities; * Participate in educational programs conducted at Santa Marcelina Hospital, including technical, undergraduate, postgraduate, and residency-level training. **ATTENTION** Santa Marcelina Saúde network warns that it does NOT request or collect any payments via PIX, bank slip (boleto), or other means.
