Management of emergency situations (neonatal and pediatric CPR) **GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** The professional will be responsible for performing technical-scientific nursing activities, ensuring qualified and safe patient care, as well as exercising leadership within the nursing team. The role involves direct care for severely ill or highly complex neonatal and pediatric patients, requiring a high degree of autonomy, technical precision, and decision-making capability. **DETAILED DESCRIPTION:** * Provision of direct nursing care to critically ill patients; * Operation and monitoring of incubators and other equipment used in neonatal intensive care; * Delivery of intensive care to critically ill newborns and pediatric patients; * Response to emergency situations, including neonatal and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); * Application of pharmacological protocols and practices specific to neonatology and pediatrics; * Use of electronic medical record systems; * Insertion and management of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), when certified (preferred qualification). **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; * Active and valid registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); * Prior experience in pediatrics or neonatology (preferred); * Postgraduate degree or specialization in a related field; * Certification and qualification for PICC insertion (preferred); * Availability to work on a 24x72 schedule.
