Research and development environment in telecommunications The **CEDEPS – Center for Product and Systems Development of Facens University Center** focuses on **research, development, and innovation** of telecommunications equipment and systems, specializing in **design, development, and implementation of hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical components**. We are seeking 2 **interns** to work on innovative projects (one to be assigned to CEDEPS and another to our partner WEC Cabos). **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in electronic, hardware, and firmware development; Participate in project definition meetings with clients; Assist in documentation support for embedded systems; Operate the development laboratory (depending on the internship’s area of focus). **Requirements and Qualifications** Currently enrolled in **Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields**; Familiarity with **electronic development tools**, such as **KiCad/QKad**; Basic knowledge of **applied electronics** and **embedded systems**; Knowledge of **FTTX and GPON** is desirable (for positions in the optical fiber laboratory); Experience or interest in **firmware and microcontroller development** is desirable; Knowledge of **C programming** is desirable; Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating **proactivity, responsibility, focus, and a sense of urgency**; Courses, training, or certifications in **electronics, programming, or telecommunications** are advantageous. **Additional Information** **Internship Schedule:** 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday) **Stipend + Gympass + Life Insurance + Auster Personal Support Program + SESC Membership + Transportation Allowance** FACENS is a Smart Campus—a patented innovative concept of an intelligent campus.
