




Job Summary: Work as a Nursing Technician across various healthcare areas, providing direct patient care and surgical instrumentation under supervision. Key Highlights: 1. Performance of surgical instrumentation Perform nursing technical activities in hospitals, clinics, and other medical assistance facilities, vessels, and homes; work in surgery, therapy, puericulture, pediatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics, occupational health, and other areas; provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse; perform surgical instrumentation tasks, correctly positioning the patient and surgical instruments, which are then passed to the surgeon; organize the work environment and ensure continuity of shifts. Work in compliance with good practices, biosafety standards, and procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform admission procedures: Introduce\-yourself and orient the patient within the environment; inventory patient belongings; monitor vital signs; measure the patient (weight, height); perform patient hygiene; provide clothing; install bed side rails; restrain the patient in bed; monitor patient progress. * Provide patient care: Perform venous access puncture; aspirate orotracheal and tracheostomy cannulas; massage the patient; change dressings; reposition the patient in bed; protect bony prominences; apply ice packs and moist/dry heat; stimulate the patient (active and passive movements); administer inhalation therapy; stimulate vesico\-intestinal function; provide bedpans and urinals; administer enemas (intestinal lavage); insert nasogastric and urinary catheters; assist the patient with feeding; initiate enteral feeding; monitor fluid balance; remove the patient; provide post\-mortem care. * Administer prescribed medications: Verify received medications; identify medication to be administered (bed, patient name and registration); prepare prescribed medications; verify route of administration; prepare the patient for medication (fasting, breakfast); perform antisepsis; supervise patient ingestion of medication; monitor infusion time for IV fluids and medications; administer incompatible medications separately; administer blood derivatives; monitor patient temperature and reactions during transfusions; administer chemotherapeutic agents. * Assist technical team in specific procedures: Assist the team in invasive procedures; assist in patient resuscitation; prepare patients for examinations and surgery; perform trichotomy; collect specimens for laboratory tests; conduct tests and examinations (cutaneous, ergometric, electrocardiogram); monitor vaccine administration. * Perform surgical instrumentation: Verify adequacy of equipment, surgical materials, and gauze pads; verify quantity of implant pieces; verify sterilization results and validity; transport materials to the operating room; position the patient for surgery; position the electrosurgical plate; fulfill team requirements; verify quantity of surgical gauze pads; count gauze pads, materials, and instruments before and after surgery; replenish supplies in the operating room; seal the operating room. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical Education in Nursing * Active COREN registration in São Paulo State **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non\-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966, No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\.
