




Job Summary: The Mid-Level High-Voltage Substation Designer will be responsible for the development, detailing, and review of high-voltage substation electrical projects. Key Highlights: 1. Application of technical standards and utility company requirements The Mid-Level High-Voltage Substation Designer will be responsible for providing specialized electrical engineering technical services for the development, detailing, and review of high-voltage substation electrical projects, covering basic and detailed engineering phases, in compliance with the client’s guidelines, current technical standards, and applicable utility company requirements. Main Responsibilities * Develop high-voltage (AT) substation electrical projects (69 kV, 138 kV, and/or 230 kV); * Prepare and review single-line and three-line diagrams; * Develop projects for: * + Grounding systems and lightning protection systems (SPDA); + AC and DC auxiliary services; + Yard and building lighting; + Electrical conduit, cable trays, and cable ducts; * Perform technical specifications for substation electrical equipment; * Prepare material, cable, and quantity lists; * Coordinate electrical projects with civil, electromechanical, and automation disciplines; * Apply ABNT, IEC standards and utility company requirements; * Provide technical support to construction teams by analyzing interferences and clarifying queries; * Participate in internal and client technical reviews. Technical Requirements * Degree in Electrical Engineering; * Availability for occasional travel; * Minimum 3–6 years of experience in high-voltage substation electrical projects; * Proficiency in AutoCAD; * Practical knowledge of: + AIS and/or GIS substation electrical layouts; + Protection, metering, and control systems; + Grounding and SPDA projects; * Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical standards and utility company requirements; Preferred Qualifications * Experience with energy utilities or EPC companies; * Knowledge of BIM / Revit / EPLAN / ETAP / CYMGRD; * Experience in detailed engineering and on-site construction support; * Experience with new substations and substation expansions.
