Each day, we begin our journey fully warmed up, ready to achieve new goals and live life to the fullest. **The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for:** * Designing and implementing large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines using cloud-based tools (AWS/Azure Databricks); * Ensuring data integrity, quality, governance, and security; * Working closely with the Data Science, Analytics, and other teams to ensure data is production-ready for consumption; * Automating data integration and processing workflows; * Implementing monitoring practices for data pipelines and failure handling; * Supporting the selection and implementation of data tools (ETL, orchestration, versioning, etc.); * Performing data ingestion and modeling; * Contributing to building a data-driven culture; * Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (LGPD, GDPR, etc.). **Requirements** **Essential items that must be in your toolkit:** * Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in Data Engineering, with hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure Databricks; * Strong knowledge of building and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow, Python, PySpark, EMR, AWS Glue, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AWS Athena, and similar tools; * Proficiency in SQL; * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and columnar file formats (e.g., Parquet); * Knowledge of code versioning (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines; * Experience with data monitoring and observability tools; * Familiarity with DataOps and MLOps concepts is a significant advantage; * Basic understanding of information security applied to data; * Technical English proficiency and basic Spanish knowledge are advantageous. **About the Organization** Smart Fit Group owns full-service gym brands Smart Fit & Bio Ritmo, studio gym brands Race Bootcamp, Vidya Body & Mind, Tonus Muscle Lab, Jab House, and Nós, as well as digital products Total Pass and Queima Diária.
