An environment that values kindness, collaboration, and ethics **\#OurWayRedefinesStories** **About the opportunity: ATTENDANCE ASSISTANT – EMERGENCY (Winter Operation)** * Responsible for attending patients arriving at the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department of Hospital Moinhos de Vento, in accordance with company policies and regulations, ensuring high-quality patient care and enhancing their experience. **Temporary contract for 180 days.** ---------------------------------------- **Responsibilities and Duties** * Deliver excellent service upholding the Institution’s positive image, ensuring welcoming treatment and privacy in response to customer needs; * Attend to patients, companions, and visitors by providing various information and scheduling appointments, exams, and procedures as required; * Receive patients arriving at the department for consultations, exams, procedures, or hospital admission, offering initial clarifications and informing them about administrative procedures required to begin the registration process; * Request customer identification documents, verify appointment status and health insurance authorization, and register all necessary data in the system to complete registration; * Request authorization for exams and procedures not yet authorized, collect patient referral forms and other required information, and monitor follow-up actions to finalize patient admission and ensure continuity of care; * Contact patients by phone to cancel scheduled appointments and reschedule according to available time slots and patient demand, providing necessary explanations regarding reasons for such actions; * Assist physicians when appropriate, resolving potential questions and retrieving requested information to support smooth departmental operations; * Maintain area organization—including arranging brochures, chairs, adjusting TV settings, requesting maintenance, office supplies, etc.—to ensure customers feel welcomed and to uphold the Institution’s excellent image; * Act consistently with HMV’s mission, values, strategy, and culture. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we need:** * Completed High School or Technical Education; * Experience in customer service; * Empathetic, dynamic, solution-oriented, and proactive profile; * Availability to work weekends and holidays. **Temporary contract for 180 days, with potential for permanent hiring.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** * 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM; * Rotating 5x2 schedule, with two days off per week according to the established roster. **Our Benefits:** * Transportation Allowance; * On-site Restaurant; * Daycare – subject to availability; * Pharmacy partnerships; * Health and Dental Plans; * Life Insurance; * Challenge Program; * TotalPass; * Birthday Day Off; * Employee House, offering physical activities, massage, and other employee wellness services.
