Job Summary: A professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and ensuring the proper operation of vehicles, providing technical support and performing on-site service. Key Highlights: 1. Advanced mechanical and electronic diagnostics for buses and trucks 2. Execution of complex repairs on mechanical and electrical systems 3. On-site service and technical support to customers and teams **Responsibilities:** * Identify repair/defect requirements in vehicles by reviewing work orders and aligning with consultants and workshop supervisors to verify whether the service falls under warranty coverage, daily; * Conduct interviews with vehicle drivers, checking reported issues in the work order to support vehicle diagnosis, daily; * Perform advanced mechanical and electronic diagnostics on buses and trucks using the TecTool computer system to identify defects/failures in vehicles, daily; * Submit service requests to the manufacturer via the Argus platform, reporting customer-reported issues along with performed tests and diagnostics to obtain guidance for further diagnosis, daily; * Carry out repairs of complex mechanical and electrical components/systems, including removal, inspection, and reconditioning of components (engine, transmission, gearbox, drive axle) to ensure full vehicle functionality; * Prepare cost estimates by listing required replacement parts on the manufacturer's platform and submitting them for approval by the immediate supervisor before presenting to the customer for authorization; * Provide on-site service (VOAR), traveling to the vehicle’s location to perform diagnosis and repairs; * Provide technical support to customers and/or teams by offering guidance and resolving queries to meet their needs and enhance their capability in performing related tasks, whenever necessary; * Conduct road tests jointly with the driver using the TecTool computer system to diagnose faults/noises, whenever necessary; * Draft technical reports detailing identified faults and required repairs to submit for warranty/maintenance plan validation, whenever necessary; * Ensure the workplace is well-maintained, organized, and clean; * Sort and organize required parts and tools for service execution, placing disassembled parts on labeled carts to facilitate vehicle reassembly; * Complete area-specific control protocols or forms; * Attend meetings and seminars as requested; * Perform other duties assigned by management that are related to the position. **Requirements:** * High school diploma * Driver's license category B * Experience in diesel mechanics * Computer literacy.
