Serve as a technical reference and develop the team **Job Summary** Responsible for leading coffee station operations, ensuring technical excellence in espresso extraction, beverage standardization, sensory quality, and customer experience. Serve as the team’s technical reference, training junior baristas, managing supplies, and ensuring adherence to house standards. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Operations and Quality * Execute precise espresso extractions (time, grind size, dose, and yield); * Adjust grinder settings according to climatic conditions and batch variations; * Ensure standardized milk steaming and latte art; * Monitor sensory quality of beverages (tasting, corrections, and standardization); * Monitor shelf life and storage conditions of supplies. 2. Team Leadership * Train and develop Junior Baristas; * Correct techniques and guide operational standards; * Organize internal station shift schedules when necessary; * Ensure the station is always clean, organized, and fully functional. 3. Operational Management * Manage inventory of coffee, milk, and café supplies; * Flag procurement needs; * Perform opening and closing checklists; * Maintain preventive maintenance of espresso machine and grinder. 4. Customer Experience * Interact with customers, explaining brewing methods and sensory profiles; * Resolve beverage-related complaints; * Act as an ambassador for the café’s coffee culture. **Required Qualifications** * Proven experience as a Barista; * Technical proficiency in espresso and milk steaming; * Basic knowledge of grinder calibration; * Familiarity with food safety principles. **Preferred Qualifications** * Barista training or certifications; * Knowledge of filter brewing methods; * Basic inventory management knowledge. **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership by example; * High technical standards; * Organization and sense of urgency; * Clear and didactic communication; * Customer experience focus.
