Preparation of budgets and managerial financial reports Financial Analyst\- 1313 A metallurgical company located in Ribeirão das Neves, MG is seeking a committed, detail-oriented, disciplined, focused, and analytically skilled professional for the position of **Financial Analyst**, to perform the following duties: * Analyze, plan, and control the company’s financial activities. * Participate in budget preparation, financial forecasting, cost and profitability analysis, cash flow management, and investment evaluation. * Optimize financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the company’s financial health. * Financial Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the company’s financial results (revenue, costs, expenses, margins, profits), identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. * Budgeting and Financial Planning: Participate in the preparation, monitoring, and revision of the annual budget (budget), forecasts, and long-term projections, considering the specific characteristics of metallurgical production. * Cash Flow Management: Prepare and monitor projected and actual cash flow, identifying working capital requirements, optimizing resource utilization, and managing the company’s liquidity position. * Cost Analysis and Pricing: Conduct production cost analyses (raw materials such as metals, energy, factory labor), contributing to pricing decisions and identifying opportunities for operational cost optimization and reduction. * Investment Evaluation (Capex): Support the financial evaluation of investment projects (e.g., acquisition of machinery, equipment, plant expansion) using tools such as NPV, IRR, and Payback—essential for a capital-intensive industry. * Financial and Managerial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and managerial dashboards for senior management, presenting clear analyses and recommendations. * Working Capital Management: Collaborate in the efficient management of working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory control (raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods). * Banking Relationships: Assist in maintaining relationships with financial institutions to secure optimal terms for funding and financial investments. * Feasibility Analysis: Conduct economic and financial feasibility studies for new products, processes, or markets. * Control and Audit: Ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies, supporting audit processes. Requirements: * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields * Strong concentration and organizational sense * Discipline to follow procedures and regulations * Ability to work effectively in teams * Solid experience in finance, preferably within industry (metallurgical, steel, automotive, or heavy manufacturing) * Advanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and investment analysis * Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (advanced Excel is essential) * Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, such as SAP, TOTVS, or similar * Sharp analytical capability and strategic thinking to solve complex problems * Strong communication and presentation skills—clear and concise, both oral and written * Proactivity, critical thinking, and attention to detail * Knowledge of the commodities market and its impact on the metallurgical industry is a plus * Willingness to work overtime when required Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree * After probation period, attendance bonus of R$300.00 * Profit Sharing Plan (PLR) * After probation period, co-payment health insurance plan * Transportation Allowance or Chartered Transport
