Dynamic and challenging environment with high quality and tight deadlines **Job Description** This position requires on-site work in Contagem, MG. **Who will you work with?** You will join Wabtec’s Project Management \- Digital Intelligence team, composed of highly skilled, motivated professionals leading the global railway industry’s digital transformation. **How will you make a difference?** As Project Leader of the Project Management – Digital Intelligence team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, cost, and schedule; monitoring project KPIs; applying the most appropriate and contextually relevant project management methodology for each project and company phase; receiving, evaluating, and executing change requests, among other duties; Additionally, the Project Leader is responsible for client communication and coordination interfaces during project execution. Conduct a detailed review of the project scope, focusing on Work Packages (deliverables) and required activities under your responsibility. Plan your assigned project areas by developing a detailed schedule based on activity definition, duration, and sequencing. Similarly, ensure that project milestones—including standard ones (revenue recognition / invoicing / payment)—are properly incorporated into the schedule; Monitor and control progress across all project phases—Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Construction, Commissioning, Assisted Operation, and Closure—to track physical progress, activity completion, and scheduled revenue and billing events. Prepare physical progress curves and progress reports for clients, as well as internal reports, per leadership-defined guidelines and frequency. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; * Experience in Project Management; * Experience in Signaling Projects within the railway sector; * Focus on sustainable delivery of results, supported by mature processes and people development; * Strong communication and persuasion skills; * Ability to manage client relationships; * Ability to operate in dynamic and challenging environments where quality and delivery timelines are critical to customer satisfaction; * Fluent English; * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera); * Advanced knowledge of PMI and/or IPMA project management methodologies; * Willingness to travel frequently; * Knowledge of Agile methodologies; * PMP or IPMA certification (preferred); * Fluent Spanish (preferred). **What will your day\-to\-day look like?** * Full project management, including cost, revenue, and profitability tracking; * Coordination of client interface and communication; * Control and monitoring of schedules and dependencies (internal and with client); * Definition and execution of implementation strategies with segment leaders; * Change Order management; * Contract management; * Scope management with Segment Leaders (requirements and documentation). **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
