Focus on safety, hygiene, and quality **Job Description** **SUMMARY DESCRIPTION** Responsible for machining parts using CNC machines, including preparation and execution of parts to be manufactured, while adhering to safety and hygiene standards, quality requirements, and environmental preservation, in order to fulfill production programs within specified deadlines and quantities. **DETAILED DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES** * Analyze and interpret technical drawings and models to adjust within specified tolerances; * Handle measuring instruments; * Perform part inspection processes; * Make tool adjustments and corrections; * Complete documentation records and production control forms; * Conduct visual inspections per the manufacturing process; * Ensure proper use, maintenance, conservation, and optimization of company assets, as well as maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area; * Comply with integrity and *Compliance* guidelines, as well as company *EHS* standards and procedures. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** Education Completed high school; Technical course in Machining Experience Desirable: 1 year Language N/A Certificates N/A Training (Post-Hire) * Onboarding Training * EHS Training * Annual Wabtec Learning Trainings * NR 12 \- Machine Guarding * Forklift Operator * NR 35 \- Work at Heights * Aerial Work Platform Operator * Overhead Crane Operator * NR 11 \- Load Handling * Safety Mentor Program * Safe Tool Handling **Additional Information** **What could you achieve in an environment that truly puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job—it’s about the impact you make.
