Green area maintenance and soil preparation **Brief Job Description** Perform tree felling and pruning operations on trees and vegetation using chain saws for forest harvesting, management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always adhering to stringent safety (NRs) and environmental regulations, with emphasis on equipment preparation, fueling, operation, maintenance, as well as area signage, demarcation, and timber handling—minimizing accident risks and environmental impacts. 3 \- Main Job Responsibilities Perform tree felling and pruning operations on trees and vegetation using chain saws for forest harvesting, management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always adhering to stringent safety (NRs) and environmental regulations. Safely and efficiently perform felling, pruning, delimbing, and tree removal in accordance with established techniques and procedures. Prepare, fuel (gasoline and oil), adjust, and conduct basic maintenance of chain saws and accessories. Identify workplace hazards, implement preventive measures, correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and comply with Regulatory Standards (NRs) for safety. Demarcate harvesting areas, classify logs, conduct forest inventories, and prepare soil for planting. Transport trees, logs, and bolts, moving them to loading areas. Focus on environmental preservation by following sustainable forest management plans and fire control procedures. Comply with the (GSI) Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health Policy, where applicable. Comply with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality regulations and procedures to ensure safe and hygienic working conditions.
