With 18 years of experience, we currently operate across all regions of Brazil, maintaining a diversified portfolio covering a wide range of minerals, including iron ore, gold, nickel, rare earths, phosphate, and limestone. We hold projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle — from greenfield development through to full-scale operations — and employ over 2,100 professionals across Brazil, all committed to our purpose. Currently, we operate three iron ore sites in Minas Gerais: the Baratinha and Mongais mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and the Pedra Branca mine. Our first iron ore operation, the Baratinha mine in the Vale do Aço region, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais project entered operation, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca project began operations in the third quarter of 2025. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and is expected to reach full capacity at 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará State, near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed since the greenfield stage, the project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers.
