Job Summary: A high-end construction company is seeking a carpenter to perform carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures, interpreting plans and using tools. Description: A HIGH-END BUILDING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS HIRING A CARPENTER to work on a construction site in Governador Valadares for a period of 2 years. We are looking for professionals to perform the following duties: * Perform carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures. * Interpret drawings and plans to manufacture wooden components and structures. * Safely and efficiently use manual and power carpentry tools. * Perform precise measurements and cut wood according to specifications. * Collaborate with other civil construction professionals to ensure quality and timely delivery. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to safety regulations. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on used tools and equipment. * Participate in training and capacity-building programs to enhance skills and knowledge in the field. Work Location: Downtown Governador Valadares Salary: R$ 2\.402,40 Benefits: meal allowance, basic food basket, life insurance, and accommodation for those not residing in the region. Requirements: * A technical course in carpentry or related fields is a plus. * Knowledge of reading and interpreting plans. * Experience with manual and power carpentry tools. * Skill in working with various types of wood and finishes. * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. * Availability for travel and work at different locations. * Knowledge of occupational safety standards. * Preferences: * Experience on large-scale construction projects. * Occupational safety certifications. * Skills in cabinetmaking and fine finishing. * Familiarity with carpentry design software.
