Below are some details about this position; if you’re interested, we invite you to apply and participate in our selection process! **Responsibilities and Duties** 1\) Transport and handle solid cargo at the production unit where assigned, operating overhead cranes across all their functionalities per standard procedures. 2\) Verify the operation of the overhead cranes operated by performing tests according to a predefined checklist. 3\) Keep the immediate supervisor informed about the maintenance status of the overhead cranes operated, identifying failures and issues during task execution. 4\) Comply with quality and occupational safety procedures by attending corporate lectures and training sessions, using PPE appropriately, handling raw materials, machines, and equipment correctly, among other requirements. 5\) Monitor maintenance interventions on the equipment. 6\) Carry out daily planned activities by reviewing the production schedule jointly with the immediate supervisor. 7\) Identify and record problems and failures in the overhead cranes operated by performing tests and inspections as established in procedures. 8\) Maintain operational integrity by performing minor repairs and promptly notifying the immediate supervisor and responsible departments for more complex issues whenever necessary. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Experience** * Experience in the relevant field is desirable. **Qualifications and Legal Requirements** * Completed high school education; * Mandatory: Overhead Crane Operation Course; * Desirable: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency **Additional Information** **What benefits will I receive?** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Vacation bonus; * Meal allowance card; * Gympass; * Access to Usiminas Corporate University and goFLUENT language platform; * Profit and Results Sharing Program. **Diversity and Inclusion** **Usiminas** is becoming increasingly diverse and inclusive, believing everyone has the potential to truly be themselves!
