Job Summary: Operates road rollers to compact subgrade, base, and asphalt layers, ensuring proper material density and leveling. Key Highlights: 1. Operating various types of road rollers on pavement construction sites 2. Maintaining safety and organization at construction sites 3. Working in compliance with safety regulations (NR-11, NR-18) #### **Responsibilities** * Operate road rollers (smooth-drum, pneumatic-tired, vibratory, or sheepfoot) to compact subgrade, base, subbase, and asphalt layers on pavement construction sites. * Conduct daily equipment inspections (checklist), including fluid levels (oil, water, fuel), tire pressure, roller condition, and safety systems. * Perform compaction according to project technical specifications, ensuring proper material density and leveling. * Monitor equipment performance during operation and immediately report any anomalies, mechanical or electrical failures, to the supervisor. * Keep the operating area clean and organized, ensuring personal and team safety at the construction site. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and correctly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Assist in loading/unloading equipment when necessary, and safely position the road roller at the end of each shift. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating road rollers on infrastructure and asphalt pavement construction projects. * Completed elementary education. * Knowledge of soil and asphalt mixture compaction techniques, including pass count, speed, and overlap. * Valid driver's license (CNH) in category D or E. * Heavy Machinery Operator training course, with specific certification for road roller operation. * Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues and perform simple preventive maintenance on equipment. * Familiarity with occupational safety regulations (NR-11, NR-18) applicable to heavy machinery operation. #### **Skills** * Road Roller Operation (Vibratory, Smooth-drum, Pneumatic-tired) * Asphalt Compaction (CBUQ, PMF) * Soil and Aggregate Compaction * Level Reading and Surveying * Basic Preventive Maintenance of Machinery * Operational Safety (NR-11, NR-18) * Mechanical Fault Identification * Category D/E Vehicle Driving * Teamwork and Communication ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub (formerly Gympass), Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Reimbursement, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
