Strategic involvement in project predictability and alignment Job Description A professional responsible for leading planning and physical control activities for large industrial projects, with a focus on structuring, validating, and monitoring schedules, performance indicators, and integration with construction fronts, procurement, engineering, and contractors. Will strategically apply agile methodologies, AWP, and the Last Planner System (LPS) to enhance project predictability and alignment among various project areas. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and physical and integrated schedules; * Develop, monitor, and optimize construction KPIs; * Validate schedules and ensure requirements for baseline establishment; * Coordinate periodic meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders; * Conduct constructability studies and scenario analyses in coordination with engineering and execution teams; * Apply agile control models for construction management and decision-making; * Prepare performance, physical progress, and schedule trend reports; * Validate physical progress reported by contractors; * Ensure integration between planning and operational process islands; * Support supply chain mapping management, focusing on constraints and priorities; * Validate monthly measurement reports and support the contracting team in resolving discrepancies; * Manage contracted scope, including traceability of changes and deviations; * Consolidate data and information for technical defense reports against claims; * Supervise daily construction reporting management. Qualifications * Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields; * Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and control of large-scale industrial construction projects; * Preferred experience in the pulp and paper sector; * Proficiency in Excel, Word, Excel; * Mastery of the LPS – Last Planner System methodology; * Practical knowledge of AWP – Advanced Work Packaging; * Familiarity with agile methodologies applied to construction planning and control; * Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel; * PMP certification is considered a plus.
