Description
**The Seres Group, in partnership with a multinational company in the sustainable energy sector, is seeking a professional to work as an Electromechanical Technician.**
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on combustion engines for electric power generation (with power ratings above 1 MW) and biogas treatment systems;
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation failures, proposing technical solutions to restore proper equipment operation;
* Conduct periodic inspections of critical components, such as valves, ignition systems, turbochargers, power assemblies (pistons, connecting rods, cylinder liners), alternators, and pressure, temperature, and flow meters, documenting all findings;
* Execute adjustments and calibrations on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety;
* Carry out measurements of operational parameters, such as atmospheric emissions, biogas consumption, and engine performance;
* Handle specialized tools and measurement equipment, such as torque wrenches, multimeters, gas analyzers, and mechanical measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and laser alignment tools);
* Perform failure diagnostics and define parts and tool lists required for repairs;
* Document all activities performed in technical reports and by completing service orders;
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure maintenance activities align with production requirements;
* Comply with and ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations during all activities;
* Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes by suggesting more effective practices and solutions;
* Attend to and assume responsibility for maintenance tasks at fixed-site facilities or external client locations;
* Support the team dedicated to extraordinary maintenance when required;
* Verify that materials received for maintenance are correct and sufficient, informing leadership if additional materials are needed;
* Maintain 5S standards and organization of work areas and tools.
**Working Hours:**
* Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM;
* Shift pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off;
* Work model: On-site.
