**Position:** Marble Workshop Assistant **Area:** Production / Civil Construction / Finishes **Job Summary:** The Marble Workshop Assistant is responsible for supporting activities related to cutting, sanding, polishing, finishing, and installation of marble, granite, and other ornamental stone pieces. Works under the guidance of a stonemason, ensuring processes are carried out safely, with quality, and within established deadlines. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in cutting, sanding, polishing, and gluing marble and granite pieces; * Prepare working materials and tools (blades, sandpaper, adhesives, safety equipment, etc.); * Support measuring and marking pieces according to technical drawings and specifications; * Help move and transport stones within the workshop or to installation sites; * Perform cleaning and organization of the work area and machinery; * Accompany the stonemason during on-site installations, assisting in assembling and securing pieces; * Comply with safety regulations and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Maintain and care for equipment and tools assigned. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Complete elementary school (preferred). * **Experience:** Previous experience in a marble shop, metalwork, construction, or related fields is desirable. * **Desired Knowledge:** Basic measurement skills, handling of power tools, and ability to interpret measurements. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail and responsibility; * Commitment to deadlines and quality; * Teamwork; * Proactiveness and physical fitness; * Adherence to safety regulations. **Working Conditions:** * Work takes place in workshops and construction sites; * Exposure to noise and dust; * Mandatory use of PPE; * Occasional travel to external job sites.
