Integrates knowledge of mineral process engineering and industrial management, supporting the development and continuous improvement of production processes. Ensures operational efficiency, safety, product quality, and economic viability, aligned with the operation’s strategic planning. * Develop monthly, weekly, and short-, medium-, and long-term production plans; * Sequence production according to plant capacity and raw material availability; * Support strategic production and maintenance planning when necessary; * Develop and implement improvements aimed at increasing productivity and reducing costs; * Monitor KPIs and propose corrective/preventive actions; * Conduct productive capacity studies and equipment sizing for process control and metal accounting; * Conduct benchmarking and track applicable technological innovations; * Integrate interfaces with Geology, Mine Planning, Maintenance, and Operations when necessary; * Control process losses and propose action plans to mitigate deviations; * Contribute to process studies based on data (mineralogy, industrial results, and laboratory tests); * Monitor loading, unloading, and material/product handling operations when necessary; * Support contract, procurement, and inventory management related to operations when necessary; * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality regulations; * Conduct quality management routines and non-conformance handling; * Manage operational risks and prevent accidents; * Apply statistical and mathematical tools for modeling production systems and supporting decision-making; * Prepare technical reports, operational analyses, and managerial presentations; * Develop, review, and train personnel on operational procedures and technical standards; * Conduct quality management routines and non-conformance handling; * Develop, when necessary, statistical and probabilistic models for operational risk assessment; * Ensure compliance with departmental operational requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Production Engineering — courses related to the Industrial sector; **Desirable Specific Knowledge:** * Mineral processing methods (crushing, grinding, flotation, etc.); * Sampling and inventory management; * Production Planning and Control (PCP); * Applied statistics and data analysis (Minitab); * Performance indicators (KPIs); * Continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.); * Systems (Bilco, JK SimMet, ERP, MES or similar). * Advanced English proficiency; * Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; * Prior experience in mineral processing and process development for projects; * Technical mining or mineral technology course desirable. **Additional Information** * Health insurance plan; * Dental insurance plan; * Meal allowance card; * Health and wellness platforms; * Life insurance; * On-site meals; * Chartered transportation. ***Mineração Vale Verde is Alagoas’ first base metals company, operating an open-pit mine for copper concentrate processing.
