We currently have an opening for a **Production Operator I**, to work at the **Matcon** **Locks and Hardware** Unit.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Master the production activities of the workstation, serving as the primary reference for production assistants regarding the process;
* Support line controllers in problem resolution and task distribution;
* Perform manual tasks, including assembly, sorting, hooking and unhooking of parts, or other routine activities;
* Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
* Perform additional duties of similar nature and complexity as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
* Conduct weighing, identification of parts and pallets, ensuring compliance with work instructions.
* Perform minor machine or line adjustments, including basic tool changes and analysis and resolution of stoppage issues;
* Monitor production flow to ensure efficiency;
* Conduct visual inspections to support compliance with quality standards;
* Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to 5S standards;
* Assist in cleaning and maintaining machines and equipment.
* Support supervisors and line controllers in technically training new employees at their workstations.
* Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) designated for the job and comply with all applicable rules and procedures;
* Work collaboratively and promptly report problems or irregularities to supervisors and/or colleagues;
* Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge;
* Perform additional duties of similar nature and complexity, as requested by the immediate supervisor and/or internal demand.
**Requirements and Qualifications**

* Completed elementary education.
* Reside in Farroupilha/RS.
