Investment in research, development, and innovation **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Responsible for assembling and packaging parts and/or products; identifying packages; recording packaging data; requisitioning materials and supplies; handling materials; and performing other similar tasks. **Responsibilities and Duties** Perform packaging of parts and/or products, verifying assembly sequence, type, and code, using cardboard and/or wooden packaging, identifying and properly storing items according to defined standards to ensure material integrity. Identify packages by checking quantities and information, and affixing labels to prepare them for shipment. Record packaging data, documenting name, date, quantities, productive and non-productive time, rejected parts and reasons, to provide information for statistical control of the assembly process. Requisition materials and supplies (under supervision) as needed and per demand. Handle materials using manual carts, overhead cranes, hoists, electric and/or hydraulic pallet jacks. Keep immediate supervisor informed about task progress, requesting equipment maintenance, clarifying doubts, and/or suggesting corrective actions for identified issues. Dispose of waste correctly in accordance with internal procedures. Comply with company, quality, and occupational safety standards and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized workplace, as well as machines and/or equipment used.
