




Job Summary: Professional to perform material and medication sorting, dispensing, and organization in a pharmacy, following operational procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Availability to work on a 12x36 shift schedule. Responsibilities: Sort materials and medications according to departmental requisitions; Dispense materials and medications according to prescriptions; Seal materials and medications in plastic packaging; Sort prescriptions by department into their respective baskets; Deliver prescriptions and requisitions to departments; Collect returned materials and medications from departments; Provide direct support to nursing departments at the pharmacy; Prepare labels for identifying fractionated medications; Perform fractionation and/or labeling of solid and liquid medications in designated areas; Restock IV solutions, materials, and medications into pharmacy bins; Conduct inventory counts as requested by the pharmacist; Check materials and medications nearing expiration dates for priority dispensing; Dispose of healthcare waste, including expired materials and medications, in appropriate locations; Monitor temperature of environments and refrigerators; Perform all pharmacy activities following operational procedures; Monitor pharmacy department control items; And other duties related to the Pharmacy Department.
