Job Summary: Pharmacist professional to supervise teams, manage operational procedures, and control medications and materials, ensuring compliance with good practices. Key Highlights: 1. Supervises teams and the dispensing of materials and medications. 2. Updates operational procedures and the good practices manual. 3. Performs inventory control and expiration date monitoring of medications. Position: Pharmacist Shift Pattern: 12x36 Working Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Requirements: Completed undergraduate degree in Pharmacy Active registration with the Regional Council of Pharmacy (CRF) Responsibilities: Supervise the team and the dispensing of materials and medications; Maintain updated operational procedures and the pharmacy's good practices manual; Conduct and participate in internal and external events focused on sector training and development; Supervise the fractioning and/or labeling of solid and liquid medications; Supervise the return process of materials and medications: computerized system and restocking; Evaluate medical prescriptions to detect possible errors; Provide guidance regarding medications to nursing departments; Analyze prescriptions for non-standardized medications, ensuring adherence to standardization established by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (PTC); Guide medical and nursing teams on procedures for dispensing and administering strategic component medications (e.g., HIV, tuberculosis), as well as request such medications from CAES; Request sera, vaccines, and rapid tests from the Municipal Epidemiological Surveillance; Submit required documentation for dispensing specialized component medications to the Twentieth Regional Health Office; Control loans of materials and medications to other institutions; Perform inventory counts for medications listed in Ordinance No. 344/98 and Category A items from the Pharmaceutical Supply Center (CAF), central pharmacy, and satellite pharmacies; Monitor expiration dates of materials and medications; Supervise emergency cart usage by departments; Prepare chemotherapy medications, when necessary, following internal operational procedures for good compounding practices; Supervise proper disposal of healthcare waste—including expired materials and medications—in accordance with the HNSC Waste Management Plan; Supervise temperature and humidity control in storage areas and refrigerator temperatures, complying with ANVISA regulations for storing medications and healthcare materials.
