Job Summary: Laundry Assistant responsible for receiving, sorting, sanitizing, folding, and organizing hospital garments, in compliance with biosafety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Organizing and distributing hospital linens Hospital seeks a Laundry Assistant in Tubarão (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Receive soiled garments, sheets, uniforms, and other hospital materials. Sort items by type and degree of soiling. Operate washing, drying, and folding machines. Sanitize hospital garments according to specific protocols. Fold and organize clean garments for distribution. Monitor inflow and outflow of hospital linens. Identify and separate damaged items. Organize inventories of clean garments. Package and distribute linens to hospital departments. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area. Adhere to biosafety and hygiene standards. Use personal protective equipment (PPE). Previous experience as a Cleaning Assistant, General Services Assistant, Hygiene Assistant, or Laundry Operator may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
