Collaborates with the team to optimize processes * Employment type: Permanent CLT contract. * Salary: To be determined. * Company: The Stefanello Family, which began artisanal cheese production in 2000, processes approximately 90,000 liters of milk daily at its plants in Rodeio Bonito and Lajeado do Bugre, distributing across various regions including Pinhal, Passo Fundo, Caxias do Sul, Porto Alegre, Pelotas, and Santa Vitória do Palmar. The dairy uses milk from producer families in northwestern Rio Grande do Sul, who receive technical assistance to ensure product quality. * Job objective: The Picking Assistant plays a fundamental role in the dairy’s logistics, supporting product organization and sorting for the distribution process. This professional ensures products are properly classified and prepared for delivery, contributing to the company’s operational efficiency. * Responsibilities: * Sort cheeses and other products according to each order’s specifications, ensuring items are correctly identified and organized for shipment. * Assist in verifying received and dispatched products, ensuring inventory accuracy and preventing losses. * Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize the picking process, reporting irregularities and suggesting improvements to current practices. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with the company’s established safety and hygiene standards. * Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to ensure delivery deadlines are met. * Qualifications: * Practical knowledge of product picking and storage operations, including basic logistics concepts. * Effective communication skills to interact with the team and clearly and objectively report issues. * Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Basic knowledge of occupational safety regulations and food hygiene practices. * Educational qualifications: Completed high school is preferred. * Professional experience: Prior experience in warehouse or logistics environments will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Internships or temporary roles in this field are also acceptable for entry-level candidates. * KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Practical knowledge: Sufficient familiarity with basic product picking and handling operations for food products. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the dairy’s daily routines. * Skill in following instructions and established procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
