So, see below the opportunity we have here: **\#VEMSERMERCANTIL** **Responsibilities and duties** **Your main challenges will be:** * **Report Management**: Updating and validating monthly reports, identifying and commenting on significant deviations. * **Data Analysis**: Deep understanding of the institution’s data, policies, and processes for credit risk analysis in operations. * **Process Governance**: Ongoing maintenance and updating of the Activities Manual, ensuring process compliance and efficiency. * **Report and Study Development**: Creating strategic reports and ad hoc analyses for senior management and business units, focused on supporting credit risk decisions. * **Provision Projections**: Developing and monitoring provision expense projections based on expected loss models. **Requirements and qualifications** **We are looking for someone with:** * A completed undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Two years of experience in risk management at a financial institution or in credit policy analysis. * Understanding of credit business and provisioning practices at financial institutions, per Resolution No. 4966. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities. * Experience in provision projection. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Expertise in data analysis and dashboard creation using Power BI. * Experience working in banking or financial institutions. **Work Location:** Belo Horizonte/MG (Hybrid work); **Additional information** **What we offer our employees:** * Meal and food allowance (If preferred, you may receive both allowances on a single food card); * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Childcare assistance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Wellhub; * Mercantil Academy of Development; * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PLR); All positions are also open to persons with disabilities (PCDs).
