Join us—and let’s make it happen! **Position based in Ilhéus/BA.** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on presses, tunnels, roasters, dryers, conveyors, cleaners, mills, pumps, compressors, valves, and other mechanical equipment and systems in the factory. * Ability to perform shaft alignment between pumps and coupled equipment (driven and driver) using dial indicators and laser alignment tools. * Knowledge of mechanical systems and their components, metrology, and interpretation of technical drawings. * Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including pneumatic actuators and conveying systems. * Ability to diagnose mechanical problems, anticipate potential failures, and eliminate recurring issues. * Perform mechanical fabrication tasks and restoration of subassemblies and components, with proficiency operating machine tools such as lathes, drills, band saws, and planers. * Record required information in maintenance work orders within the integrated system and prepare material requisitions whenever necessary. * Strictly adhere to the company’s quality, safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures, in accordance with the Integrated Management Policy commitment, the company’s Code of Conduct, and its Values and Principles. * Knowledge of general safety systems and devices; knowledge of GMP—Good Manufacturing Practices. * Your challenges will include: * Performing preventive maintenance services according to technical maintenance standards (critical activity standards) and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment; * Entering records into the maintenance management software regarding service interventions—including allocation of labor hours, tasks performed, process impacts, and materials used; * Contributing to failure and breakdown resolution by proposing containment actions for identified anomalies and ensuring their implementation; * Participating in productive performance review meetings, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), pre-preventive maintenance sessions, and others; * Assisting in developing and training maintenance and operations teams through LPPs (Lessons Point-by-Point), reporting and addressing potential incidents and safety risks associated with performed activities; * Complying with quality, food safety, occupational safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements; * Meeting food safety requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education**: Completed vocational training in Mechanics or related fields. * **Knowledge**: Familiarity with mechanical systems and their components; certification in predictive mechanical maintenance; certification in pneumatics; specialization in machine alignment and balancing; knowledge of general safety systems and devices; knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Experience in facilities management; proactive and punctual; * Intermediate Excel skills; * Completed secondary education; * Experience as a mechanic; **Additional Information** **WE VALUE DIVERSITY AND TALENT!** We do not discriminate among candidates based on gender, age, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, origin, or any type of disability.
