**Responsibilities and Duties:** * Perform mechanical maintenance activities specified in maintenance plans through field inspections, interventions, and specific tests to ensure delivery quality and timeliness. **1. Maintenance Activities** Perform preventive and predictive mechanical maintenance on electrical equipment according to maintenance plans and scheduled intervals, ensuring full operational functionality and adherence to the maintenance schedule. **2. Failure Analysis** Conduct analysis and identification of mechanical issues in electromechanical equipment upon request and implement corrective action plans (corrective maintenance) to guarantee full equipment functionality and preservation. **3. Routine Inspections** Carry out routine inspections on mechanical equipment as per checklists, identifying early signs of failure or problems, and raising preventive maintenance requirements to avoid unplanned shutdowns. **4. Equipment Maneuvers** Request and verify mechanical isolation maneuvers on plant equipment to ensure safety conditions required by regulatory standards, thereby safeguarding process safety. **5. Equipment Release** Request equipment release from the Operations Center for mechanical maintenance execution, communicating and recording corrective maintenance demands to ensure proper planning of both scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities. **6. Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)** Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures and report any unsafe acts or conditions to management, aiming to protect physical and mental integrity. **7. Environmental and Quality Compliance** Comply with Environmental and Quality procedures to maintain and ensure the effectiveness of the company’s Management System, meeting applicable legal requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Driver’s License: Class B (mandatory) * Education: Technical Course in Mechanics * Minimum Desired Experience: 2 years in the role * Willingness to reside in Costa Rica/MS * Desirable: Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency Basic computer skills Predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance experience on power generation plant equipment Regulatory Norms NR-10, NR-11, NR-12, NR-33, and NR-35 Power generation plant equipment, substations, and transmission lines (generators, voltage and speed regulators, current transformers, potential transformers, circuit breakers, surge arresters, cables, concrete and metallic transmission line structures) Basic ability to interpret single-line and three-line diagrams Basic knowledge of electrical quantities (e.g., voltage, current, frequency, and power) Use of multimeters and voltage detectors Maintenance management systems (SISMETRO) Supervisory control systems Employment Type: Permanent CLT contract Salary: R$3,000.00 – R$3,500.00 per month Benefits: * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Food voucher * Transportation allowance Selection Questions: * What is your salary expectation? * Do you currently live in Costa Rica or are you willing to relocate there? * Do you have experience with hydroelectric power plants? * Do you hold a Class B driver’s license?
