Description: Completed Higher Education. Registration with the Relevant Professional Council * Provide patient care in outpatient units under the rehabilitation program, monitoring care delivered to patients and applying procedures and protocols defined for each patient. * Plan nursing actions. * Identify patient needs and problems, diagnose situations, identify risk areas, establish priorities, develop action plans, and evaluate outcomes. * Provide direct patient care (including nursing procedures—especially emergencies—and administration of medications requiring special controls and precautions), addressing patient needs and requesting physician or other professional intervention when the patient’s condition changes. * Work collaboratively within a team; demonstrate leadership capacity; demonstrate negotiation skills. * Implement health promotion activities. * Participate in multidisciplinary team activities; develop educational materials; guide community involvement in educational initiatives; define health promotion strategies for specific situations and population groups; participate in public health campaigns targeting health hazards; guide healthcare teams on infection control in health units; participate in occupational health programs and campaigns; contribute to the development of health projects and policies. * Provide technical supervision of nursing activities within the unit during daily operations, guiding staff to correctly perform procedures and ensuring quality and safety of care. * Conduct nursing consultations and participate in healthcare team meetings. * Facilitate patient/client and family adaptation to the healthcare environment, and implement educational programs to prepare them for applied therapeutic methods. * Monitor inventory control of supplies and medications within the unit, requisitioning materials and medications from respective departments, tracking consumption, and recording data on designated forms. * Report adverse events and develop and implement action plans aimed at preventing risks associated with patient care. * Participate in institutional committees as required. * Guide students, interns, and trainee professionals in teaching, mentoring, and theoretical-practical knowledge transfer as needed. 2512190202551927713
